An installation composed by layering the roots of the Oga Peninsula, which is connected to Funakawa’s own family name, with the roots of an Akita dog he encountered. Although humans and dogs are entirely different beings, the work finds a sameness between them as singular individuals, each formed through their own contingent circumstances.
