A collaborative work with musician Saya (Tenniscoats). I created this work by overlapping the experience of my stay at Yamamoto Seika with my experience on the island, using objects found in the factory as drifting objects in the closed Yamamoto Seika (confectionary factory) in Osaka. During our stay on the island, Saya and I picked up the same melody from the sound of the waves and created a new song based on the experience of the song we heard, the experience of evacuation covered by large waves, and our encounter with drifting objects of unknown origin. The songs were composed from the common experience of the flow of time on the island and in the factory, and were performed in a space composed of tools used in the confectionery industry and everyday items at Yamamoto Seika.
